About INFI
INFI is an AI-powered financial insights tool that explains your net worth changes, portfolio moves, and spending trends in plain language. We're a small team in San Francisco building at the intersection of AI and personal finance.
What you'll do
- Design and build the AI agent system - multi-step reasoning over financial data with tool use
- Develop prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks for financial Q&A
- Build the daily insights engine - automated analysis of portfolio, spending, and net worth changes
- Implement RAG pipelines over user financial data for context-aware responses
- Evaluate and integrate frontier LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini) and optimize for cost, latency, and quality
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of ML engineering experience, ideally with LLMs or NLP systems
- Hands-on experience building production AI agents or chat systems
- Strong Python and TypeScript skills
- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, and structured output
- Comfort with rapid iteration - shipping experiments weekly, not quarterly
